Claw trimming for dogs with burrs

This attachment allows you to quickly trim your claws. I use it at low speed and limit the time I hold it on the nail (so it doesn't get hot). I apply very little pressure and the bit does all the work. Cutting my lab nails just got a lot faster and less stressful (for the dog and me)

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Not for dog grooming

I bought this and another Dremel whetstone bit while looking for a good product to groom my dog's nails. This tungsten bait is so coarse I wouldn't even try using it on my dog's nails. The other part works really well, so I save that one for when I need to sand down the rhino's horn.

  • New
Cons
  • Good but not great

Dog Claw Sharpener - Clipping Tools

I use this to sharpen my own dogs' claws as well as my clients' dogs. It makes the job quick and me and the dogs are not happy! I do NOT leave the grinding wheel on the claw for too long as I am concerned it will get hot and pull too much of the dog's claw. But I like how quick and easy it removes nails. I prefer this product over the course grinder.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Bug

Just what I need for wood carving. Works great on exotic hardwoods! I needed a palmwood file to make the body but all I had would ruin the material as there are softwood and hardwood lines that will seize and break if a regular carbide end mill is used so this was perfect, because it grinds the material without clogging, just like a normal grinding wheel. Delivered quickly and well packaged. All in all a great suggestion for a good quality round cylindrical carbide file :)

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Minor issues

Works best in cutting tools

This is a finer 'grain material' than I expected, but is great for materials with the consistency of plastic, wood, etc. I haven't used it enough to cut shavings pinching the teeth, but I'm sure it's possible. I have used many sanding drums, I hope this lasts much longer. Also, it doesn't seem to generate as much heat when sanding as sanding drums. Edit: After numerous uses I could clog the teeth a bit, I think it was some kind of plastic or foam I molded. I used a stainless wire "toothbrush"…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Does the job for cutting tools

I've been SLOWLY learning how to plane and carve wood over the past few years. Gradually I got to the point where I wanted to try using a Dremel to speed things up. I was reading an online tutorial on how to carve a wooden Hitty doll with a Dremel, and on the materials list the carver listed this particular Dremel bit - a Dremel 9933 textured tungsten carbide tooth - as the bit for carving most of the doll on. I found it at Revain for $9.99 and free shipping with Revain Prime. While I was…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • So far so good

Yes, it cuts tropical hardwood! =:-D

- This works much better than the 115 cutter for my purpose, which cuts a 1/8" edge" in 1/4" to 5/16" hardwood - most of the time tropical hardwood. With some emphasis on the 'hard' part! Well of course the 115 is *described* as for 'soft' materials and I've *looked at* serrated tungsten carbide cutters that are described as 'for hard materials' but I need a larger cutting head. and especially something with a cutting surface on the flat end, not just the sides. - I mounted my dremel vertically

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Some cons
