Description of Drill America High Speed Conventional 64

High-speed steel tools are good for most general purpose applications, offering a combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance. Black oxide treatment adds lubricity and creates small pockets on the surface of the tool that act to hold coolant near the cutting edge. Round shanks allow use with a wide variety of toolholding systems. When run in a counterclockwise direction (right-hand cut) spiral fluted tools evacuate chips up and out of the cut to reduce clogging. Ideal for production, maintenance or portable drilling jobs.

Smooth and efficient drilling power

Through trial and error, i found that this drill bit really delivers in terms of precision and speed. It cuts through metal like butter and the high-speed performance is impressive .The smooth drilling power makes it easy to work with, and it's built to last. The only downside I see is its high price point, but you get what you pay for when it comes to quality cutting tools..

Pros
  • High speed allows for quicker drilling
Cons
  • Not suitable for drilling through very hard materials

Look elsewhere for accuracy.

Garbage. Two in a row had severe wobble that was noticeable to the naked eye when in the milling chuck. I got it working with a large pilot drill, but I will never buy this brand again for use in anything other than a hand drill.

Pros
  • Drill
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
