🔨 Heavy-Speed Drill America Piece Review

The pointer box with these drills was not a Huot brand box. The index box I received did not have straight sides and did not open or close easily. The paint was peeling and in some places it was missing a smooth coat of paint. The inside of the box is broken. With an index box of such poor quality, I didn't even want to think about using drills of equally poor quality. I returned the Drill America set and paid a little more for a Cle-Line made in the USA bit set.

I have used the drills in this set several times. They have worked well and appear to be of excellent quality. This set has every imaginable drill size. I haven't had to buy many drills for a long time. I would have given them 5 stars but when the set arrived a couple of the lift sections snapped off their hinges. I think rough shipping and inadequate packaging may have caused this to happen in shipping. The box is pretty solid, but with the weight of all these drills, they really pack a punch.

The drills look ok but I haven't had time to really test them yet. The set was packed in a very cheap light metal box, which fell apart upon delivery. There was a screw missing on the side of the hole with the letter as shown in the first and second pictures. The number stand just lay in the box, not connected in any way.
