Good for hand quilting

I find hand quilting relaxing, but I don't have room for a quilt frame. I was used to my mom's extra large knee tires but couldn't find them online and was wondering if they were big enough. It's big enough and actually makes it easier to reach the entire area I need to stitch at once. It moves easily by unscrewing the lever to loosen it and then tightening it very securely without pulling too hard. I like to "give" the surface a little when quilting. Its thickness and inner edge make it veryโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Not productive

I was looking for a comfortable embroidery frame for hand quilting for a long time until I found this one. Ideal for hand quilting and embroidery (on large quilt blocks). It also comes in different sizes! It is convenient to use when quilting. The border is not so thick that it is difficult to hold or hold while sewing. It also seems very durable. Adjustment is easy, allowing you to achieve the tightness or looseness you want. As a new quilter, I would definitely recommend this as a starterโ€ฆ

I love this quilted headband!

I handquilted a double quilt with a 14 inch wooden hoop. I was able to do it, but the outer frame didn't stretch enough to easily insert the quilt, and the frame itself was only 1/2 inch high, so it was brittle for the quilt's weight. I saw this tire at Revain. The first thing that attracted me was that the outer tire could be extended a lot more than my current tire. It is tightened with a wing nut. The frame is much bigger and stronger than my wooden hoop. It's plastic. I've used plasticโ€ฆ
