Ideal for leather and other heavy and thick materials

For those who have ever tried sewing leather with a regular needle, these babies are a godsend. They glide smoothly through skin and thick fabric. Their eyelets are large, but I have a hard time threading the needles, so I liked the larger holders. I use them to hand sew leather bags and they make beautiful works of art. What's not to like about it?

The needles are strong enough to penetrate the toughest materials.

Needles are strong enough to penetrate the toughest fabrics, yet flexible enough not to break like many other needles. I sewed the patches onto my shoes with the largest possible needle and although it took a bit I managed to get through two layers of leather and a 1mm thick rubber toe cap. And I am by no means a shoemaker or tailor in my sewing skills.

After so many years of "one size fits all”, the choice of three sizes has become a welcome luxury. (Note: These are NOT upholstery or carpet needles. These are regular sized needles…
