Good quick fix

Bought a pair of pants for my husband for a trip. He can normally carry a 34 inch inseam, although he has a 33 inch inseam. The 34s were a bit longer than he wanted and I didn't have time to redo them so I ordered these. Went like clockwork! Will definitely keep some for future "emergencies".

Pros
  • This package contains 1/8 inch x 8-1/3 yards

Use this item for doll clothing with 1/4 " seam allowance

I haven't made my first doll piece yet, but I've trusted Dritz clothing for years. I understand quilters use this product too , but I don't quilt. This is a seam allowance; both doll clothes and blankets have 1/4" seam allowances and this product helps hold the seams together until they are sewn together.

Pros
  • Great for quick basting
Cons
  • Big and chunky

This is not ideal for hemming heavy fabrics like vinyl.

This was a turning point in sewing. The tape is tacky and strong enough to hold the folded vinyl together so I can easily tape it to it. This is not ideal for hemming heavy fabrics like vinyl as it will unravel after a while. After a while I would suggest taking out the sewing machine needle and wiping it down to remove residue that will no doubt build up over time. I needed 1/8" tape for a project and it was the only option I could find and love. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • For temporary repair of hems and seams
Cons
  • Damaged
