Adding Rivets to Fabric Shower Curtain

Accompanying rivets to make the shower curtain were purchased. You definitely need a steady spot to use this and a good strong hand/hammer.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Commercial Availability

Worked well but part was missing

Just what was needed to add rope handles to fabric baskets. Using a hammer drill we put a small piece of wood underneath and it worked great. Ours was also missing a part, so we only had 9 sets instead of 10.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

Missing Part

Mine was missing a part so I made it for 9. Packing Requirement 10. This is not one of the things I will return when I have a project coming up. It just annoys me that for some reason it never feels like I'm getting anything extra, always shorted. Otherwise it seems to have worked. The fabric is a little wrinkled.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • No Power

As advertised but there is no tool to cut the hole.

TIP: You will need your own tools to make a hole for the center of the sleeve. The size of the hole is not indicated on the packaging. I started with a hole for the nail and then used sharp scissors to enlarge the hole. It is recommended to make the hole slightly smaller than you would expect so the material fits snugly when you push the sleeve through.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Watch out for negative reviews. . .

I bought these to add to some embroidered microfiber gym towels I made. The concept seemed simple and the instructions that came with it were pretty straightforward. But as other reviewers have pointed out, the little teeth never stuck to the fabric. It wobbled when placed on the anvil and never fitted properly. Nevertheless I fought back. The result was a deformed outer ring that fell apart. I've tried it with and without the stabilizer and the results have always been disappointing. Even DH…
