Works with hard drive accessory

I was initially confused as to how this worked until I realized I would need to drill a 2.5" HDD or SSD into the holes in the bottom of the bracket. Then attach it to your desktop using the holes on the sides. I have an Acer Nitro N50 desktop and it fits perfectly in the free 3.5" hard drive slots.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Speed

OG Xbox Computers and Accessories

If you use it in the original Microsoft Xbox, you need to widen the screw holes on this bracket a bit. The screws provided are not long enough to install these hard drive brackets into the plastic Xbox hard drive tray. Once you widen the holes a bit, you can use the original hard drive screws to put the tray back in place. This tray works great with the StarTech IDE/SATA hard drive adapter.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Something Different

Does the job cheap but watch out for sharp edges

Worked well and installed in minutes. Beware of very sharp metal seams on the back of the tablet where the cables connect. I had to cut the seam with a file to remove the burrs. Bought 2 packs for €5. i can't win

PERFECT for desktop SSDs in a box

I often fix desktops and donate them to charity. They are ideal for installing an SSD where a 3.5-inch hard drive was originally housed. The price can only cheer. I'm glad I found this set of 4 so I have a few extras if needed. Will definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Good looking
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Works, mounting hole adjustment may be needed

I know it's difficult to make a universal product. The mounting holes did not match my Kingston SSD, but simply drilling a hole fixed the issue. Apart from that it works.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Some cons

Need to drill holes

I had to drill big holes on the sides. Otherwise the screws would not fit, this happened with both PCs with very different cases. The material is good and it is well designed. I do not recommend for: 1. People who do not have a drill with suitable bits2. Those who don't know or don't want to, don't drill holes or it will do the trick and it's a good metal tray.

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Disappear

The 1" width needed to securely fit the drive into the 3.5" To fit slot is 3.5 inch full width and you need your 2.5 inch drive to have screw holes on the bottom. This doesn't work at all for 2.5" drives without holes on the bottom.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories and Peripherals
Cons
  • Something Else

Good product BUT poor screw hole design

Bracket and accessories were great but custom mounting screw holes were not acceptable. My computer required a bracket mounted on a 3.5" case, but the bracket came with a mounting screw and a hole for a 2.5" drive and bracket. I would have to drill this bracket to fit the desktop system. This is a well designed product with a poorly designed screw hole.

Pros
  • Hard drive case
Cons
  • Big and bulky
