Broken Back: Bathroom Safety, Aids & Accessories

I'll say I've had enough for two years, but today the back cracked, the metal bars literally broke in half on either side. I'm paraplegic and fell on my back and then on the ground it was very scary and I was lucky someone was home and I didn't seriously hurt myself - that remains to be seen over the next few days how I ended up funny on my back. The way the bucket is attached is fragile and difficult to use.

We have other 'powered' items and they are all good value but this is VERY disappointing. The half-inch diameter rim of the bucket should sit on a small rod that looks like a wire hanger that barely snaps into place. Look carefully under the front seat in the photos in the listing at the time of writing this article. A simple flange over which a wide-rimmed bucket could be slipped would be much better. And the instructions are terrible, don't mention it. As an aircraft mechanic, I'm no novice…
