At first I didn't want to buy this item because the price was very good compared to the same part in my golf cart repair service. It was an easy install and the improvement was immediate. My old worn out MRSD was doing 5-5 mph on a flat road. This part gives me 20 mph on the same road as it should.

If you need to replace this, good luck loosening some screws on the bottom panel. In addition, this item was difficult to put on the operating rod. YouTube videos of demolishing the old one are correct, but installing this replacement takes a lot of effort. Much effort. Similar efforts were required for the wiring harness. But installed, everything worked. Big difference in trolley performance.

I ordered it in May and finally got around to installing it in October. Although it looked the same, it didn't fit properly and was very tight on the shaft. The old one slid off the shaft with ease, but it had to be used with force, and that required a rubber mallet. The 2 plastic nipples were also too big for the holes they were supposed to fit in. After installation, the cart did not work at all. Put the old one back in and it worked again. Tried it a few times and couldn't get it to work…
