Better than stock. Fits Shock

I had to make a small change but most of it. Much better and definitely stronger than the original. My truck broke one side, seeing how much better this is I'm going to order 1 for the other side.

Pros
  • This upper rear left (rider) shock mount is welded to the rear cross member.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Worked on 2500HD with little effort

Got this for a 2005 gmc sierra 2500 hd. The part itself was good quality but didn't fit without shaping and I had to cut off the top corner as well. I got it working, but at least it wasn't specific to this truck.

Pros
  • Keep your old Chevy or GM truck on the road with our replacement shock absorbers
Cons
  • Almost never

Decent stuff! in Shocks

This is a good product. I had to do a bit of sanding to get a gap and a better fit for welding. This is to be expected, since the existing rusty metal has its pitfalls. If you need it for your GM's crappy frame, this is a very good, high-performance part. My original shock absorber was completely rusted through. Primed and painted after welding. Highly recommended. This was on a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500hd Diesel Double Cab.

Pros
  • Quality assurance: 3 year warranty
Cons
  • Some small things
