Terrible Quality Actuator - Absolute Trash

My analysis of this Automotive Replacement Parts product showed that the quality was extremely poor. The actuator malfunctioned only a few weeks after purchase, leaving me stranded on the highway. The only positive thing I can say is that the price was affordable, but you certainly get what you pay for with this product. In the future, I won't hesitate to spend a little more for a higher quality item.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Potential compatibility issues with other car models

Great for Subaru 2005

works great the original died and the replacement worked great needs some removal of the old construction but its not too heavy. The hardest part is figuring out how to put the assembled product back without damaging the metal bars and figuring out how to put them back. Take a picture of the old build before working on the new one.

Pros
  • OE number
Cons
  • Some cons

Works as an OEM Best in Spare Parts

Put this in the left rear door of my Legacy GT wagon yesterday. Now the door closes and opens correctly. Installation can be a little tricky. Be sure to remove the plastic cover that covers the door lock actuator as well as the door latch and then you can access the single screw that holds this guy in place. Put the appropriate levers back where they belong when installing the new part and you're done. Because they fail so often at the factory, I didn't think it made sense to buy an OEM part…

Pros
  • High quality material
Cons
  • The list will be long.
