Smooth and Reliable: My New Go-To Bearing

Based on my observations, this bearing is one of the smoothest and most reliable options on the market. It installs easily and performs flawlessly, making it the perfect addition to any performance car. The only downside is the slightly higher price point, but the quality and durability of this bearing make it well worth the investment.

Pros
  • Smooth, reliable performance
Cons
  • Higher price point

Works well - spares

Fairly unnamed brand, made in China, I assume no country of origin is on it. But I used one to replace the driver's side rear bearing and kept the other as a spare. Easy to replace, use snap rings and socket or suitable tool to knock out the old ones and drive in the new ones. For those who don't know, the outside diameter is the area used as the area to install a flare, pipe, or pull-out and install tool. For those in the know, it fits as an OEM and I've put 3,000 miles on it with no problems.

Pros
  • QUALITY ASSURANCE
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Do not do that. - Hub Assemblies

So I drove about 200 miles with this bearing before I had this weird feeling and grinding noise in the back of my car. Jacked it up and in fact it had over 1/4 inch play in all directions. It's torqued to spec but the seals have already failed and there was already grease on the axle nut and in the drum when I pulled on it. It doesn't make any noise, but when properly tightened, it wiggles like crazy. I guess that's what I get when I buy cheap stock, but I was broke and needed something quick…
