I love this dollar, have had more!

Have this dollar to turn 20V power tool batteries into 14.4V electronics batteries. Works very well for that. The digital display is very nice. There is a separate power switch for the line output so you can check the set voltage before turning on the output. Once I set the output voltage, it held it with repeated use. Small and fine functions. Good price. I have already ordered more!

does what is on the bench.

All the standard features of the lead clip buck converter are of decent quality and the meter always reads the same as my lucky charm. So don't worry about miscalibration. Haven't had a chance to stress test the spec but it seems fine with an instant 12V 6A supply and thankfully has short circuit protection and (seems) at least reverse polarity protection. Use this as a starter ballast for 3w UVC steriliser lamps so I can use them with a 20v tool battery. The simplest system with built in…

Cons
  • Good but not great

The build quality of this step-down converter looks good at first glance; However, the blue screw terminals are of very poor quality. The connectors are so flimsy that they will move (or twist) if you try to screw the wires into the board. One of the connectors had a free wire, meaning the board only got power when I pushed the connector. I ended up just unsoldering both connectors and soldering the wires directly to the board. The second problem was that the regulator got very hot. Even with a
