The quality is good, the performance is average.

Despite very good workmanship, the performance reminds us that there is only a low-budget chipset behind it. Aisan lady trying to speak English for announcements and only good sound quality balanced by good workmanship represents good value for money.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • Large and clumsy

Works great in home theater

I've used a lot of Drok products and while they're not the best on the market they're excellent value for money. I built a ghetto blaster at work that allowed me full use of Bluetooth. The voice that comes out when connecting can be removed and a chirp or ring can be used instead, but that's a minor downside, English is terrible. Now all you need is a way to turn it off when the main power is off on the other board.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Good but not great

Excellent unit. Reliable Bluetooth. pure sound.

Very happy with the product. Just a note for other buyers, a voice will play when searching and pairing the device. Some might find this annoying. Even when switched off, the device is always set to a medium volume by default. I use it in my car so it takes me longer to turn it on. I like being able to control all the volume from my head unit. I contacted Drock and they responded quickly and said they would look into this for future models.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

In general, an excellent choice

Good board, easy to install and use. The only problem I have is that the volume resets every time it is turned on and off. There appears to be a separate volume on the chip for the volume the phone adjusts via Buetoth. So when used, there is a phone volume, a bluetooth module volume and an amplifier volume, all separate. On a hardware level, I found this board easier to work with than some others I've used, and I found it fairly easy to integrate into custom applications.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Excellent quality and high quality

This small bluetooth board is very good. It's packed with features, but best of all it sounds fantastic. I power it with 5V DC via a Drok DC Power Board which can be found here. , cleaner sound on my aux jack on my 2008 Ford Escape than my phone could play through the headphone cable. I believe there is a small preamp module (for headphones I believe) that has a good signal to noise ratio. I hid this device in my dash to power my standard stereo and not only is it convenient it sounds great…

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • No performance

Easy to use at a reasonable price!

I ordered this Bluetooth module for my deck acoustics. After adding this Bluetooth receiver to my existing amp, I was able to easily play music on my deck without tethering - I really liked it. The board is not the problem. I used the standard connectors (micro USB and audio jack) to easily connect to the board. Additional control buttons (next track, previous track, play/pause, etc.) are onboard features that aren't particularly useful. Pairing is easy and requires no pairing code or other…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Without a weapon

Great little board for projects

I used this little board to upgrade a 20 year old boombox that still works great and give it some modern features. I ripped out the radio block and installed it in place. I've used it to play MP3 files on a USB stick and audio on my phone via Bluetooth. Both worked great and reliably. The only thing that would make it even better for projects like mine would be if it had a solder pad or connector that provides all the power, audio, USB, and button connections. I soldered wires to it (dead bug…

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Not the best

It works, so to speak. suitable for amplifier

basic functions work as stated by other users. The difference is that the micro SD port is badly soldered and the last 3 pins have no contact to the circuit board. This will result in the micro SD port not working and the USB-A port for flash drives not working until the micro SD card is removed. After removing the micro SD card, the USB-A port works well with a flash drive. Files must be at the top level of unorganized folders to play. Just a large muddled collection of MP3s over a few days…

Pros
  • handsfree
Cons
  • very expensive

My old bluetooth stereo base with radio (Zenith on the left) required a bluetooth adapter that could be powered from a wall socket via a 5v transformer and would not automatically turn off when the paired device goes out of range like most battery powered adapters. It's hard to find something that meets all requirements. I first found it on Parts Plus, but for 1.5 times the price it was poorly made, had terrible Bluetooth range and only had a 5V micro jack connector, no micro USB connector. I…
