Was very happy to leave some money

We took this drypack on a trip where we planned to do a lot of snorkeling. I was very happy to have some money with us, our IDs, room keys and whatever else you might need to stay dry. We snorkeled for a long time and carried flip flops in our snorkel bag so we could go to different spots on the beach for lunch etc. Everything we needed was kept dry in this bag. I've also put things like my camera in a zipped bag just to make sure it stays dry, but the bag did a great job on its own when…

Does what it says on the tin

I've had it for two years now. I've taken it on both rough adventures (rafting) and leisurely idleness (beaches, canoes on still water). I have always kept my camera, phone and ID 100% dry. I did a bladder test when I first got it and it passed. But I was still skeptical. After one or two rides he proved himself. It's a good size to fit whatever I want with space saving. But it's easy to carry. The ONLY thing I find a bit bad is that it takes a while to open and close. The four levers that…

Worked for what I needed

From the photo it was a little hard to tell how big the bag was when it contained stuff but I had no problems with this bag. This kept my contents dry. I had 2 iPhones, 2 packs of cigarettes, 2 lighters and 2 small wallets. I put everything in the bag so it was pretty flat just in case. When I left the beach I used the front mesh pocket for stuff. I read other people's reviews and comments and people mentioned that they didn't like it when the bag wasn't crossed over the shoulder, but I…

great for snorkeling

Pros:* It's double-layered (reminds me of an insulated lunch bag), doesn't feel flimsy* Big enough to hold phones, keys and wallets for two, but not as big as it gets in the way * Mine came with two straps, I think one is just extra. Cons: *There are four locks that you have to string together to close the bag, so it's not that convenient to use out of the water *The mesh pocket on the outside doesn't keep contents secure *There's only one hole open the top for attaching a strap, they could…

Disappointed with leaking testing

I had the same experience with the DPG-912 which is described very well in a report dated 05/20/10 by Christopher Bailey and I was hoping the company would keep quality control up to would improve four years later. Disappointing as I really wanted it to work! Revain did an excellent refund (as always) but didn't offer a replacement on return. I also ordered DP-44 (purse size) and DP-46 (cell phone size) at the same time. The DP-46 was waterproof (hooray!) but the DP-44 wasn't and I hope the…

So glad it was on our trip!

We bought this large dry pack for our recent trip to Maui. It was a great decision. This backpack was big enough to store our Canon SX40 camera, driver's license, car keys, cash and iPod while we enjoyed snorkeling in the beautiful waters surrounding Maui. Everything was completely dry! My husband wore it and he swam after it while we swam. (Note: He had a small sore on one shoulder, but as we found out later, he didn't take the time to put his seat belt on properly - warm water beckoned. :)…

Cool concept though. in Boating

I bought this item for snorkeling in Playa del Carmen in Mexico and I was so excited about the item. Haven't used it yet but did a bubble test and dunked the entire bag in the tub - everything worked fine. I love how this item is SEALED. Unfortunately the picture is a bit deceptive. In the photo it looks like a sling - you can throw this thing over one shoulder and it will sit on her back. However, this is not the case. The included strap did NOT fit the strap hole. There is only one hole at…

Must have for cruising and snorkeling!

We bought this bag to take with us on a recent cruise. My husband and I used to take turns swimming in the water so that one of us could keep up with passport, money, camera etc. and everything stayed dry. Not this trip! I've been snorkeling for 7 hours with no problems. That made the day a lot more relaxing! What makes this bag so valuable for water lovers: * Ease of use. Turn all four knobs to the locking position and the bag will be sealed. That's all. Even with all zippers left open, the…
