This is a lovely little dryer that can hold a lot of pasta. Easy to assemble and durable. I give it 4 stars because it IS NOT FOLDABLE. I wanted a folding shelf. I rarely cook pasta and don't have a lot of counter space. The packaging says it's foldable, but it doesn't fold. The dowel is removable for easier use, BUT IT DOESN'T FOLD. i kept it I like it BUT IT DOESN'T FOLD.

A pasta dryer is a must-have when you make it yourself. I love that the chopsticks release from the top so I can store them under the pasta cutter so the noodles sit right on top of the chopstick. Then just place the stick back on the rack and start drying. As other reviewers have pointed out, it's a bit large for storage. I have it on the shelf, and I use the top of the dryer as a shelf for a loaf of bread.

It doesn't work until you loosen the screws that hold this monster in place. I built a similar one but no screws were needed to mount it. I built mine out of scrap wood. I was able to set it up and take it down in less than 30 seconds. We lost it in a house fire. This product is completely misrepresented. The truth in advertising comes to mind. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FOLDABLE PASTA DRYER! Too bad Revain doesn't have a devil badge to rate misrepresented products like this!
