Great looking and sounding marine radio.

I installed it on my 21ft Bayliner and the remote control next to the steering wheel is very handy. It also features NOAA weather channels, which are essential when boating. Includes 5mm jack and CD player. For us eyeglass wearers it would be better if the buttons were a bit bigger. Overall this is a great radio and I am happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Updates

I'm glad I bought it.: Marine Electronics

I'm working on a custom 4 channel system for my Road King. Added a 400 watt marine grade Pyle amp and it works great! Get lots of compliments on the sound. Only thing is I wanted it to be black but I can handle a white remote as that's all that's visible. The console has already weathered the storm. I keep most of the device in one of my pockets so it's protected.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • having problems

Great stereo to hide in a classic car!

I bought this stereo because I wanted new sounds in my classic Chevy but didn't want them to be visible. The wired remote allows me to put the radio in the glove box (or anywhere with a long cord) and still have full control with minimal visibility. Sound and performance are great! Also, I can connect my iPod directly to the remote control and listen to it. I've had a hard time finding something that suits my needs and this provides everything I need in a decent package.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Volume

Nice little stereo for the money.

I bought this radio for use in my outdoor cabin/tiki bar. I live in upstate New York and wanted a radio that I could leave outside year round and not worry about moisture. This stereo makes it possible. I installed it in a box connected to an external 12VDC power supply. It comes with a wired remote control and another separate line-in adapter to connect external players like a phone or iPod via the headphone jack. For what I needed it works great. It's not top notch, but it's not terrible…

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Nothing Here
