Duffs Doorstopper DSH408 Heavy Doorstop Review

Looks like what I needed. Visually appealing but very light. The bottom has no rubber coating to keep it in place. This is a great idea, but very poorly conceived and implemented. Expected much, much more for the price.

I don't like it. I like that the doorstop has a handle. Without bending down to pick it up or even moving your leg. The pen is a smart idea. Absolutely as described. To add to this review, I also like that it's all in one piece.

Not suitable for my solid exterior door. It kept closing even though I changed position under the door. He slid across the tiles and closed the door. I even tried tying a rubber pad to it with rubber bands hoping there would be more support but I think my door was too heavy and determined to close. I have to send it back.

This is so helpful to my dad! He is in a wheelchair and this long handle doorstop is so handy for him because he can open the door without much effort. His physical therapist saw it while she was there for an appointment and asked where we got it from as it would be so handy for so many of her patients!

Works great! My uncle needed a doorstop that wouldn't keep him tipping over and that would fit securely under the door despite his physical limitations and poor eyesight. The Duff Handle doorstop works great. I added a leather loop to the top of the PVC handle so he can hang it on his doorknob when not in use. This is just what he needs to secure his door with ease.

Works well when wedged under the door. However, if you need to remove the stopper to close the door, this item is very heavy and will fall at the slightest touch or an uneven floor or even a gust of wind when stepping on it. I bought this so I didn't have to bend down to remove the fence, but now I have to bend down to pick up an item off the ground if I want to put it under the door as a fence again. If they had put some weight on the wedge, it probably wouldn't have fallen.
