ANOTHER VICTORY GLAZE FROM DUNCAN!

When I'm using a glaze that spreads when it's upright in my oven and I want it to stay in place. Not only does this flame retardant clear glaze keep all my colors in place, it gives an absolutely brilliant shine!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No power

Frosting should be

I've been using Duncan products since I was a little girl, my grandmother used them. Very happy with the products. The density is perfect, it can be diluted with water to use with bottles and needles for finer stains, but it still covers great!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Sure, but check out the app.

After years of using Duncan's clear this clear is not as good as the old clear 612. Needs 2-3 coats. I applied 1 layer and after drying applied a 2nd layer thinly and because of this it is still too thick in some places. But there seems to be no other choice.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Worries me

Cannot be used if scattered throughout the pack!

Would have liked to use this but the bottle was open and the entire inside of the pack was leaking. Worst of all, it was also placed in a plastic bag and leaked out of it. There wasn't even a cap on the bottle! Big mess! Very disappointed!

Pros
  • Gives a brilliant shine after firing in the kiln, intensifies the colours.
Cons
  • Only available in white

Glad Revain did it

I use this product as a clear coat on ceramics when underglaze or flatglaze is used. I usually get frosting from the other of the two sources, but I haven't had time. So I gave Revain a try and thank you Revain for having it. It's a little more than what I pay for, but I didn't have to pay shipping, so it worked. I'm a happy potter.

Pros
  • Give your cookware a glossy protective finish with the non-toxic Pure Brilliance brush glaze for ceramic!
Cons
  • Doubtful

Just In Time

I just bought a kiln to fire my own pottery. I usually attend classes throughout the year which provide all the food and tools we might need as COVID is the time for us potters. I liked the product, I noticed that my clothes looked much better with just two coats. If you go for 3 coats I found it too thick, too shiny. personal preference.

Pros
  • Non-toxic, eco-friendly, will not crack or crack after firing in kiln shelf cone 06.
Cons
  • Can't remember
