Ideal for men who work outdoors

Bought this for my boyfriend in December to help him get through the winter. He loves shirts with thumb holes and has to absorb moisture as a postman. We've never tried a Midway Duofold so we decided to give it a try and now it's one of his favorites! Keeps him slightly warmer for his base layer and he says it still keeps him dry. Just for reference, we ordered L and it is 6ft 165-170lbs.

Duofold sells this thermo Alaskan is the only thermo I buy

This is the bomb. I live in Alaska and I know what I'm talking about. It goes well with other clothes. The pants version of this top is much smaller than the shirt. I'm 5ft 9" and 155, a medium size fits me but I bet the small would fit me a bit tighter for a full first layer fit. Team it with merino blend leggings and padded pants from Carhartt and you're almost ready for winter.

Big weight for a base layer on a cold day

They're great and they have thumb holes. Not too thick, not too thin. They feel about 1.5 times thicker than my military "silks" and are the go-to mid-layer on days when it's too cold for silk briefs and pants alone. I wore them as a base layer under a fleece top layered over my ski jacket (Columbia 650 Powder Down Jacket) in 25-35 degree temps on a recent ski trip and was reasonably warm all day. No questions.

The best equipment! - Tops

I have been using Duofold underwear for many years. I have worked as a delivery man and scavenger in the Pacific Northwest and currently work as a truck driver in the Midwest. Of course, in such conditions, staying warm and comfortable is a top priority. I recommend these products from above and below! They hold up really well, are very comfortable and if you throw on a few layers I promise you'll be the warmest person in the room. I also really like the thumb holes. They do a great job ofโ€ฆ

Great fit and feel!

I love everything about this thermal jacket! I ordered this for my 6'1.210 husband and it fits very well. This large Veritherm cut had nice long sleeves and a thumb loop. I didn't think my husband would like this buttonhole but he really liked that option on this shirt. My husband has several types of duofold thermal underwear in shirts and pants. He loves the food there. The Varitherm-style upper feels smooth and soft. It is considered "warmer" in the Duofold chart. He hasn't had a chance toโ€ฆ

great price great quality double fold bottom layer is high quality

great price great double fold bottom layer is high quality My husband usually wears a larger size, torso and arms larger, sizing has been discussed but he has this in medicine as Wearing his first layer knew he wanted it tighter, this one is perfect, the big one might have worked as well but he doesn't mind that it's tighter and he likes to wear lots of layers, it's very warm and looks good, you can sit around during breaks and take off the layers and still look together, he works outside so he

Super soft and keeps you warm!

I did a lot of research before purchasing. My husband is a car mechanic so he spends most of the day outside. He works in a shop, but the compartment door is ALWAYS open, so it gets very cold when working on cars. He says thumb warmers like the ones I bought are better because they keep him warm and also protect his wrists when working on cars. He could stay warm and not wear a heavy coat while he worked. In any case, you can not wear a thick winter coat when boarding an engine. But greatโ€ฆ

  • Thumbholes for extra warmth
