great product, delivery and price.

Hello, this stainless steel snap shackle works well. It is well built and as it is made of stainless steel it should not rust with exposure to the elements. So far, so good. great product, delivery and price.

Pros
  • heavy duty snap shackle
Cons
  • so-so

Crappy QA/QC - Sailing

Bought 3 of these on 3 different orders from the same seller (RDEXP). The first two work acceptably well. The latter is a sloppy mess, apparently collected from the junk in the store. I didn't need Wichard, but I didn't need trash either.

Pros
  • Material: 304 Stainless Steel
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Good quality and unlocking works smoothly by pulling the ring.

Quality is good, release works smoothly by pulling the ring. Use this to create a lifeline for use while kayaking when you need to be able to quickly release the kayak you are towing.

Pros
  • Avoid sharp edges, high temperatures.
Cons
  • Not sure
