Good, quiet inverter.

Quiet inverter. Definitely worth the money. I plug in my phone charger when I drive and use the USB port to charge my power bank so I always have a charge for my phone.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • So far so good

doesn't work with jumpers, chargers, and portable power supplies

I really needed an outlet in my work truck to start my old netbook which has a 20 minute battery life. This Duracell inverter is rated for 130W continuous power, but my netbook rated for 60W peak power could not turn it on.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • something's wrong

Works pretty well. fits inverter

I've used these for several 90 watt laptop power supplies and they seem to work great. Doesn't get hot, almost no noise. I have no complaints other than that I liked the power button and detachable cords on the older model. This one has no power switch and appears to turn on automatically when the engine is running.

Pros
  • Great range
Cons
  • So-so

Great for phones but may not be enough for laptops

I've had the Duracell 175W model for about 4 or 5 years and the fan noise was noticeable but tolerable. The big problem was that the DC adapter wouldn't stay in the power connector and the side pins wouldn't hold their shape. Although the plug is detachable, I couldn't buy one individually anywhere. But 15.99+ shipping was a better option than buying USB adapters to plug in based on the reviews I saw. I can charge my phone quickly, which is very important when using GPS on long trips. However…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

I can't even put out 55W, the fan seems broken.

I tested this once at home with a 105w work lamp, it worked fine for a while, after plugging in, the fan spins. Now, a few weeks later, I've tried using it to power my laptop (85w charger) on during the day. Traveling (very old MacBook Air, I tested the charger at home, uses 35W-55W for me), the inverter switches off after a minute. None of the fans turned on when connected. Terrible quality. Accessible. Will try to exchange with Revain if exchange also fails I would like a refund! Update July…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear
