From Bad to Worse Home Batteries

These are great batteries and I love being able to check how much charge they have left. When I pulled a few last night I checked the performance and the first battery was almost full, the second about half full, the third less and the last one I tested showed no performance. Duracell batteries last 10 years but I think they are older. Very disappointing.

Good Batteries Poorly Packaged

One of the most popular alkaline batteries, these batteries appear to have originally come in cellophane packaging which was then placed in bubble wrap for shipping. Somewhere along the way the plastic wrap ripped, leaving a bubble wrap mailbox with a pile of loose AA items inside. I have taken the trouble to check each item individually to ensure that it is in order and not damaged in transit, which you wouldn't do with stronger item packaging like you might get with cage wrap from a hardware…
