Warped after 15,000 miles

2006 Tacoma 2.7 4wd, they have about 1 year and 20,000 miles on them, warped after the first 15,000 miles. Save your money because it sucks when you have to take breaks every year.

Pros
  • Great overall performance

Slightly disappointed in these rotors

Ordered on July 7th 2017 and already rebuilt for my wife's 2006 4Runner. She doesn't drive hard and doesn't step on the brakes. She even drives the car most of the week so our SUV barely drives. Very disappointed with these rotors.

319mm or 338mm, that's the question

They're a direct fit, but Toyota 4Runner windshields come in two sizes. My sports model has a diameter of 338 mm. It's 319mm so I had to send them back. It's not the seller's fault as they were described as 319mm in front. The supports are also different. Didn't know when I bought it. Hope this helps others.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Almost never

The rotor rims on my 2011 Tacoma were so rusted and corroded from 50,000 miles of salt that they buckled and made the steering wheel vibrate at highway speeds. Replaced them with these rotors and the truck runs smooth and the brakes work great now. So I am very happy with the product and the savings!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Don't really like it's ok

So far I love these rotors! I put them on my 2009 Tacoma 6L

So far I love these rotors! I installed them on my 2009 Tacoma 6L. I originally bought them for the paint applied to non-touching surfaces. I live in Colorado and the magnesium chloride on the streets rusts the rotors instantly. As they say, the only thing I don't like is the lack of threads to remove the rotors if you want to replace them. Most rotors have them to defrost the rotor from the hub so you don't hit it with a hammer. These threaded holes are a life saver when I replace my old…

Pros
  • , handy item
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

They seemed to work fine at first, but they don't have many .

I installed them on my 2005 v6 4runner 4x4. At first they seemed to work well, but they don't take the heat well. I live in Colorado and go for a walk in the mountains every day. Coming down from Bierstadt I had an idiot in a Lexus RX going all the way down at 18mph - I couldn't downshift and tried to brake/release to let the rotors cool - but they overheated after brake for about 10 minutes. I don't think the guy in front of me has ever driven into the mountains because it looks like he…
