This is a heck of a deal for the price. The G7020 chipset has support under Linux with gpsd, and worked well. As you might expect, had trouble getting a first fix indoors, but once it had a fix, held on pretty well. This has a small battery or supercap for storing almanac while turned off/offline for *short* periods of time.

I bought this because many of the comments about this product said it was easy to use, including with an Arduinio, except the fine print says it's a replacement part for something NOT Arduino, so there are no official schematics, API, or sample code to copy on the company's website (or anywhere else) to be able to use it on an Arduino.
