Hook not even hooked! Not surprisingly, there are no close-up pictures of the hooks. There is only a blunt gap too small to grasp and the yarn always slips off. Casting is also difficult. Pour. They are so clumsy and awkward to work with. I've had the best results attaching straws to the ends of the hooks.

I bought this set because it was cheap and I wanted to learn Tunisian crochet. Sometimes the hook gets stuck, so I just take some fine sandpaper and fix it. Hence a star deduction for ease of use. I also noticed that they had an awful smell for a couple of weeks but it has since gone and I can't smell it on any of the hooks anymore. All in all a great product for beginners!

Bought a few weeks ago. I'm working on a baby blanket and so far two of these pins are half broken. I'm only halfway through the roof. I thought maybe I was trying too hard when I was working. So after the first breakdown I tried to work softer. The second broke after about the same number of rows (20) as the first. The first tried to glue with superglue, but it did not help. I am very disappointed in my purchase. I'll try the medal next time. I liked the different colors.

I have used these hooks for my last 9 duvets. I used smaller hooks for #3 and larger hooks for #4. At the moment two big hooks have cracked pipe. Today my 6.0mm hook broke in two. Luckily I had 6.0mm left so I was only able to finish the baby blanket halfway. I wish they could reinforce the pipe so it doesn't crack from repeated flexing. I make all my blankets in large sizes so the tube is heavy. I will continue to order from this site.

I ordered bamboo and received plastic. I was like okay I have plastic and I'm fine with that. Now the figures show a transformation diagram, but there was no transformation diagram. In bright light, glasses and a magnifying glass, I couldn't read the measurements of the hook at all. It took me 40 minutes to find an analogue of the K hook and tried them on a simple Tunisian stitch. It was hard work. I could have made a quilt in the time it took me to work with them. I am newbie? "Tunisian" hooks are actually normal hooks with cords attached. This makes Tunisian crochet much more difficult because you have to constantly move the loops to pull the yarn through. Otherwise I have no further problems. If I could I would order real Tunisian stainless steel crochet hooks with cables and the only reason I ordered them was because they are not heavy and I didn't see what I was looking for that I had to do bigger projects . .
