The batteries in these scales last forever.

This is my second of these digital DYMO letter scales. My daughter borrowed the first one and I got tired of waiting for her to return it so I bought a new one but made sure it was the same brand. I use this all the time. Sometimes for the mail, sometimes for packing groceries in one-pound bags, and sometimes for weighing a cat, but never all at once. The auto shut off after 3 minutes ruined this scale.

I recently bought a new one and the auto shut off after 3 minutes "improve" ruined it. The weird thing is that I have an older scale of the SAME MODEL and was able to turn off the auto shut off. I couldn't do that with the new one. So it had to be returned. The new one also couldn't constantly go to zero for a week. The old one stayed at zero even though it had about 20,000 packages. The old one is still running and is looking for new replacements because the old one has been cranking things up

Good build quality but disappointing

Bought two of these at different times, one from Revain stock that only lasted a few weeks then sent back and replaced with a brand new one. Today, 10 days after buying the new one (so it lasted less), the new one fell down too. In short "sleep", but then nothing wakes up. In the first case, unplugging the USB and plugging it back in to reset worked for a while longer, then that didn't work either. It's not my computer because it won't work with a new set of batteries.
