Bought one of these kits for some home projects. Wasn't expecting much for the price and this one Device didn't even live up to my low expectations. I was able to print about 5 small labels before the machine stopped working. I know there will be people who will say I didn't know how to charge the device, or that I did am not mechanically inclined - wrong. I've been connected to science all my life. I love this little label printer. The labels are just darn cute. Bad reviews are mostly user error in my opinion. Except, of course, for those whose car broke down. Once I've selected the character I want, I pull the trigger with both hands and hold it for a few seconds before releasing, and the embossing comes out very nicely. - The labels are definitely a bit smaller, smaller than I thought, but they're still great for labeling small items. LOVE this item! I'm an organizer freak, so of course I'm a label freak, but most of the labels I find in the store either look too clinical or Pinterest is mommy for my style. The vintage look of these labels is absolutely perfect.
