Disappointed and I don't mean it lightly.

I would like to start by saying that I do NOT write bad reviews lightly. Unfortunately, these studs just haven't stood the test of time. Less than a year has passed with them and they are already almost completely covered in rust with little to no original black paint showing. Unless you plan to repaint it every year, just bite the bullet and spend the extra cash to get a higher quality set.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Discontinued

START BY HAND on tires and wheels

3 Stars Due to the difficulty of installing these villains. The beginning of the thread is not rounded, so be careful when installing. You can twist the pins. INSTALL IT MANUALLY. This allows you to start winding, with the eyelet angled and cross-threaded. Take your time. I've driven the car over 800 miles since installing it and checked the torque twice and they're holding up great. Amazing value.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Slightly torn

The thread class is a little loose

I bought these for a 2018 Ford Fusion with steel rims (snow tires). You are looking very beautiful. But everyone tried to cross themselves during the installation. Install loosely by hand before tightening with an impact wrench to avoid twisting the threads on the stud. If they were just embarrassed to be fully installed, they had more play than I'm used to from nuts. They were all tightened to 100 lb-ft. I'll check them out in a few weeks to make sure they're staying tight.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Empty
