Waste of money best in my review

According to my experience this muffler was not worth the investment. Although it may have slightly reduced noise levels, the overall performance was disappointing..

Works great at 7.3 to muffle exhaust after straight pipe riding

I replaced the factory muffler through a replaced straight pipe, it was too loud. I modified the muffler slightly but welded a 3 1/2 x 6 sheet metal plate inside to control exhaust flow. An 18-gauge sheet metal plate with bent tabs to allow the exhaust gases to spin inside the core. This silencer is used behind the Y-pipe directly after the two-hole flange next to the transfer case and the drive shaft.
