🔧 Dynomax 36438 Heavy-Duty Clamp Band for Enhanced Hardware Performance Review

It's been 6 months and the bolts are so rusty I almost broke a bolt trying to loosen them. The straps are ok and still shiny, but the hardware is rubbish.

This article does not work. I bought a new Dynomax exhaust with 2.5" pipes for my Mustang. I loved the idea of loosening the clamp and disconnecting the exhaust pipe if needed. Unfortunately, the clamps weren't strong enough to exert even the slightest clamping force on the pipes. I had high hopes, really! I don't know how this thing got 5 stars!

Need clamps to seal some connections on my exhaust that I replaced on my truck. I used exclusively stainless steel for durability and these stainless steel clamps worked well due to the clamping force and strong bolts that didn't crack or break on air tools. The best bonus is that they can be removed and won't pinch the exhaust pipe like traditional exhaust clamps do. The delivery was quick and the packaging was sufficient.

I have a Flow Master CAT rear exhaust on my 300C and the supplied exhaust tips have their own welded clips but the tips are protruding due to the exhaust configuration. just a little further than I wanted. So I cut them along with about an inch of pipe on the ends and used these clamps. As always, these and other 2" band clamps I've used are great because they clamp very tightly to secure the pipe/lugs, but don't compress the lugs or pipe, making it nearly impossible to break the to separate…
