Great car! I was skeptical of all the Dysen ads and I wasn't wrong! After 1 use on my new carpet it really got softer. The price is worth it and Revain had the lowest price.

If you have a lot of pet dander and live in a dusty area, by all means stay away. It's so annoying to have to take it apart and find clogs every time you clean the room! Obviously not for heavy and even medium cleaning. Very disappointed and upset.

I have a smaller, light Dyson and love it. This one is big and inconvenient to use. Maybe it just takes some getting used to, but I don't like it that different. Moving from a vertical position to a push/pull position is also uncomfortable. This is not a natural movement, it was not designed ergonomically. I'm glad I made a good offer otherwise I would definitely send it back.

Reviewed by a homeowner. Have owned Dyson Ball Total Clean for over a year. and low pile semi-moulded carpeting (wool/polyester I think with extra durable padding). My conclusion: blows the old Eureka canister on hardwood floors and carpet (until I can lift the tree or carpet off the floor). However, the suction power is too strong for thick and heavy 10x10 carpets (wool/cotton/polyethylene). Update: Ever since I got this vacuum I've been obsessed with vacuuming, silly as that may sound. I am absolutely amazed at how much dirt it picks up even though the room may have only been vacuumed two days ago. But make sure the brush rotates. This is the only way it becomes flexible.
