Dyson Power Switch Model 910971-01 Review

Our old Dyson still worked but the power button had to be pressed by hand which is a bit tricky when cleaning. After speaking to a Dyson employee she said it was too old to replace and that they no longer make our particular model but would be happy to offer a 20% discount on a few other models (oh my god thanks but those models were both wireless and nothing compared to what I had). My husband took it apart, we ordered a tank switch and it was the perfect fix for about $7!

Fixing the infamous intermittent power problem. Some people have reported having trouble accessing the light switch. It's pretty easy on the DC27. First, pull out the stick and remove the handle. A 14 year old Dyson DC07 would not turn on and some basic troubleshooting revealed it was a faulty power switch which was confirmed by a continuity check on the meter.
