🔌 Dyson DC39 Cord Reel Assembly Review

Based on my experience using this product, I must say that it has been a bummer. Although it claims to be convenient and easy to use, the cord reel constantly gets stuck and won't retract properly. This has been a major annoyance while cleaning my home and kitchen.

The item itself was fine. There were no replacement instructions. I contacted Dyson for replacement instructions and they said we had to take it to a Dyson repair center where it would cost $100 just to walk in the door not to mention the cost of the repair . We searched the internet for instructions but couldn't find anything.

The cable no longer works on my Dyson. I took it to a repair shop and the guy told me it would cost $300 to fix. I said no thanks, went home and jumped to the computer. I found a spool for the line here at Revane and found how difficult it is. This is where I got confused. I've come to the conclusion that dismantling Dyson is more than my salary.
