I decided to take a chance hoping to get a working lamp. Of course, it took me forever to get into it, but I made it and, as expected, was disappointed. Like many other reviewers here, this just doesn't work. It's pretty cheap, so don't be surprised if you roll the dice and fail.

All five bulbs ordered are a perfect match for our 200w bulbs. Of course, this does not apply to three-way lamps with a mogul base, but only to lamps with one wattage. They will presumably work with CFLs and other mogul base bulbs as well, but I haven't tried any of these configurations so I can't be sure.

We were in the process of replacing our high pressure metal halide or sodium floodlights with LED lamps. To do this, all we had to do was remove or bypass the transformers or ballistae in the existing fixtures and then screw in the E39 LED bulb. Before ordering all of the replacement LED bulbs, we had to do a rebuild where we wanted to see how bright the LED bulbs would be in certain locations.
