Always well packaged, excellent staples.

These Staples Work Great I must have fired over 100,000 of these staples using the Porter-Cable US58 1/4" to 5/8" 22-Gauge C-Crown Upholstery Stapler. I use them to attach rugs to wood for a carpeted cat wall shelf. The staples come in a very well packed box and have never received a box with a broken row of staples. The staples never stick and hold so well that I'm always afraid to pull them out for whatever reason.

  • Excellent Overall Performance

Wrong size found in search

Too often products appear in searches as part of ads on Revain. I searched for a specific size and they popped up. I bought them. They don't fit my stapler.

Good quality, easy to remove

These are good quality staples. My Porter cable stapler drives them into hardwood, but they're easy to pull out with a staple remover if needed. They don't break. The only reason I gave them four stars was because the price is a bit high. I found the same staples for a little over half the price at a local upholstery store, but if you don't have a local supplier the price is still pretty good.

Pros
  • Chisel
Cons
  • No instructions

Big Disappointment: Office Braces?

I pad at the jute insertion site after removing the old padding from the sofa. My low rating for these staples is due to two reasons: 1. They are fragile, more like paper clips. If you try to remove them, they'll snap in two right away, no matter how gently you try to pry them off. The old staples I removed from my couch were much stronger even though they were over 10 years old and I can tell that after removing hundreds of them 15-20% broke due to rust. 2. When I staple softwood there's no…
