Rubber worn out in 3 weeks

Waste of money and time. For 3 weeks this mount was in worse condition than the one we replaced. Too many problems for a return.

Be patient. - Engines and engine parts

Fast delivery but painful installation. I blame Ford, not the manufacturer or seller of these replacement engine mounts. I have found online videos and other resources on how to remove the old mount and install the new one. It took me several hours to do this. Be patient if you decide to buy one of these.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I searched the internet to find the best way. I found a puller at Revain

I figured out how to install the gear rolling resistor. It took me 4 hours to install the first one with a clip. I searched the internet to find the best way. I found a gear puller at Revain. It took 5 minutes to set up and another 5 minutes to download.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Nothing

Arrived quickly and looked good. I had to knock out the old one with a hammer and chisel. I tried pressing a new one in with a hydraulic press but couldn't quite get it right despite bending the 3/8" steel base. It's better to buy a whole new block - I don't see how anyone can successfully replace this block.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Expensive

Perfect Fit - Engines and Engine Parts

Received quickly, looks exactly like the original part. Perfect fit, installation time including cleaning 1 hour. As stated by other reviewers for this and other similar parts. It's not easy to just shove it in there. But with some lube it is possible. Step 1: Remove the black pin that threads through the hub. I don't know what it's called, but it's 4 screws. 2 on each side to the right of the strut mount in the engine compartment. I'm sure they are metric but 15/16 will fit. Unscrew it from…

Pros
  • All right!
