Installs from a 6x6 handled bar set between two trees. Was a bit worried about the durability of the hardware considering my 6 year old grandson loves to swing high but so far so good. The bar is just the right size and the plastic coated chain is a nice plus. Worried the spring clips wouldn't hold up under the strain, but haven't had any problems so far.

This swing is very easy to assemble, durable and great fun for the whole neighborhood. We chose the tire swing over some of the other popular styles because we wanted something durable that would last our entire childhood—that wouldn't suffer from the sun's rays after a hit in a Georgia summer and wouldn't have to throw it away. This swing fits! It was a worthwhile investment and I only wish we had made the purchase last summer!

We moved into a house with a large oak tree this year and realized we NEEDED to buy a swing set for the kids. My wife found this set at Revain and it saved me tons of time building my own swing set as it comes with everything you need except rope and wood of course! My kids love the swings and we will be using them for years to come! I had to wash the tire thoroughly with warm soapy water as it had black spots as some others have described.

This is probably a great product if you can get it all. This was not my case. Eastern Jungle Gym is not responsible if the chain and eye hook are not included. Between the fact that I came without all the parts and the swing bracket (also Eastern Jungle Gym) I bought the wrong wood, I will definitely not be buying this brand again. Good product. This is a real tyre. It's heavy and dirty. Before hanging, it must be washed thoroughly. Chains are designed for heavy loads. The plastic cover on the bottom is solid and high enough to prevent little hands from being pinched, even when the child's arms are fully extended. I bought it for my 4 year old granddaughter. This tire arrived in good condition for a used tyre. We decided to spray it as we didn't want the black rubber to come off the kids' clothes. However, even after three coats of paint, some (perhaps oil?) had seeped through the tire, making the bright yellow finish look like a dull olive green. We keep adding layers of color. The kids love it! The product arrived quite quickly. It comes with all the hardware and circuitry you need to use it, but you'll need to assemble it. I used a deep wrench and it took less than ten minutes. A lot of people complained about "4 holes for 3 chains". These four holes are the four drains (rainwater).
