It would be better if the front cable slot was on one end or the other. Pulling the cables in the middle is the wrong position for the iPad and phone. The image on the website shows the tablet in portrait mode, but that means the iPad is sitting on the cable port. I use the storage space in our RV next to the bed and it works fine, but the slot at the end would work better for a phone.

It's definitely not something you'd buy to fit much more than a cell phone (if you trust it at all). I'm not too strong and not that attractive. Judging by the photos I thought I could store a few things in it and charge my phone, but actually it's not strong enough to hold many things. The plastic is weaker than I expected. I DO NOT recommend this product! It completely DESTROYED my wall! At first I tried to attach it with nails and struggled to hang the tray on both nails at the same time. Of course, this could be user error. But then I decided to use the included tape with clips attached. The tray slides easily over the clamps, but lifts off the clamps just as easily. Tried command rods that hold 5 pounds at first (so 2 strips should hold 8-10 pounds) but it can't even hold a couple of folders or a spiral notebook. I was going to use screws but it turns out the glue is actually very strong. If the glue eventually rubs off I'll leave the screws on so it'll be fine either way.
