Simple and strong harness

Works great. I have used this brand on all my dogs because it is really easy to put on. Pass their front paws through the holes and push on the hind legs. Not complicated like others. Only thing is the old ones had a fluffy Sherpa lining but this one doesn't. But my dog was not uncomfortable at all.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Available in white only

Perfect for my pup and her safety!

I bought this to replace a lost one. I liked the first one so much that I bought the exact same one again. Fits my dog, it's comfortable for her to wear and I feel safe knowing she's wearing a seat belt. I have no complaints at all about this harness. I have recommended him time and time again and will continue to do so.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Big and chunky

They are too big on car seat belts

Last month I bought 2 small dachshunds for our cross country trips, when they arrived we fitted them as best we could and they were still too big for my dogs. They also make it easy for them to get tangled in the harness when buckled up, which I didn't find to be such a problem as my dogs usually just lie down in the back seat and fall asleep, but not so much with these. They didn't want to wear seat belts.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons

We like padding on seat belts, but we don't.

I read the description very carefully before ordering to make sure I got the right size. We read the instructions and followed them closely when fitting our dog into the harness. However, within 10 minutes of driving, she slips out of her seat belts and moves freely in the back seat. We couldn't figure out how to keep her in the harness, so it renders even her possessions worthless. We love the padding on the trailer - it just didn't suit us!

It's pretty hard work, and it wasn't in the beginning.

This is quite a heavy tool and at first I didn't think it would fit my 11 lb poodle but her chest size was in a small range. After playing with it for a while my husband finally fitted it to her body and we think it will work. We bought an adjustable seat belt buckle to clip onto the seat belt. You need to attach it to the "handle with ring" on the back of the harness. We weren't able to pull the tie so thin in the strap when it was attached to the ring on the handle that she didn't hate the…

Reliable and practical

Now all three of our dogs have it and it's a great harness. In the car it works as promised and easily skips the seat belt. Also, it fits comfortably and is a bit difficult to get the right size for your dog, but once the size is set, it is secure and comfortable. It's well made and lasts forever. I may have replaced them twice in the past, not because of damage but simply because they got so dirty. They can be washed, but at some point it's better to just pick up a new clean one. Ever since…

Too much room for car harness

I've used this as a car harness for my dog on short trips for two months with just a little effort getting him used to the harness going through the loop behind him. Then we took her on our first long journey. After a while she started walking and turning around, which caused her back to loop. About an hour into the ride we realized it was completely out of control. We brought them back to the next rest stop. On our way, she managed to pull out one leg again. The strap that goes under her…

The best dog harness I've found.

I have a 12lb barrel chest Havanese and this is the best trailer I have found after buying (and returning) eight others. This is mainly due to the harness on the back which allows my dog to move around a bit or lie down on the seat. Others who didn't have this extension had my dog pinned something against the harness/backrest. The slightly padded chest also feels comfortable. It's important to note that this needs to be pretty snug so your pet doesn't yank their paw out or get caught in the…
