Now all three of our dogs have it and it's a great harness. In the car it works as promised and easily skips the seat belt. Also, it fits comfortably and is a bit difficult to get the right size for your dog, but once the size is set, it is secure and comfortable. It's well made and lasts forever. I may have replaced them twice in the past, not because of damage but simply because they got so dirty. They can be washed, but at some point it's better to just pick up a new clean one. Ever since one of my dogs was thrown out of the back seat and into the passenger footwell during a sudden stop at a red light a few years ago, I have never let my dogs out of the car without the seat belts secured through this harness. Very grateful.
