Easycargo 10mm Heatsink Conductive Adhesive Cube Review

Both the cleaned and prepped chips and backplate do not adhere properly and fall off. Almost burned out a very expensive GPU.

I bought these because my regular heatsinks were out of stock. These heatsinks are obviously larger and designed to dissipate more heat. But. The cooling band does not stick properly. I wipe all components with alcohol for good adhesion. They don't stick and don't fall off. I wish they worked but they don't.

Got this to cool the driver IC but with some heat the supplied adhesive started to peel off quite a bit. I solved this problem by removing the tape and cleaning the metal well, then using some thermal silicone instead. Although I now have to wait for the silicone to dry, it worked much better than duct tape alone.
