This is a siphon tube, see photo

I ordered this item as it is being sold as a flexible siphon. I received it and see that it is indeed a flexible "siphon pipe" (see photo). I use a siphon on the outlet side of a waste chute attached to the kitchen sink for this. Siphon tubes are designed for vacuum, not pressure. Returned unopened, money refunded. I wish the seller would show the label or say it was designed and labeled as a siphon tube, I would never order it.

Pros
  • Comes with a bracket to hold the siphon in place - Must be installed for proper operation
Cons
  • Upgradeable

I still needed a pipe that connects to the actual drain under the sink, also needed putty and needed an extra screw for the pipe to connect to. I would not recommend this product. It feels solid but incomplete. So if you're not as savvy as I am, don't waste your money, find someone who knows what they're doing and ask their advice on how to fix or replace your…

Bought a $6 rubber grommet adapter, cut the stepped end of this kit to size with a hacksaw, formed a P-trap and installed the plumbing in literally 5 minutes. No need for elevation and Calculate corners, cut and glue the PVC that I will have to cut out later.Perfect for my needs in my opinion. The plastic is not very thick. But that's not…
