Bore still small

it's definitely more flexible than anything in HD or Lowes but the inner diameter is small when not extended. I think everything will be fine. I've added some photos so you can see for yourself. My problem is that when installing a freestanding tub you want the drain to be at the end and not in the middle. I don't use it like P Trap. Just a link from the bathroom to the real P-trap.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Cannot connect to rinse basket

Great idea, would be perfect but doesn't screw onto the basket. The threads didn't match. That's what he said to the vendors: Thanks for your input, James. We apologize for the inconvenience. Maybe the thread wasn't the right height. In any case, we would like to thank you for your contribution. We have been selling thousands of these devices per month for the last 8.5 years and we have seen cases where the device failed to work on a specific occasion. We are sorry that we could not fulfill…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons

Don't waste your time

As many reviews say, this is too much hassle for the convenience of a flexible hose. In other words, the need for adapters, the fact that it has to be plugged directly into the sink, and the poor quality of the hose don't make this a wise purchase. The cheap plastic tubing is of extremely poor quality and definitely not worth the price. I ended up cutting up my vanity, using traditional P-Trap plumbing, and throwing away this worthless piece of junk (not even worth returning to get my money…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

I should have listened to the feedback - nothing fits

I thought it might be worth trying an outside sink to direct the water out of the drain, but it doesn't fit a 1 1/2-in -Drain and there are no adapters available because it is such an odd carving. Looking for adapters at the big store I found a much better 30" flexible drain hose that attached easily to the short stem and had more flexibility. I don't recommend it for standard installations. I would return it. , but I already threw the bag away, so I just toss it in a box of "plumbing junk".

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No instructions

Easy pipe fitting installation

I have a Dodge van and have done some plumbing myself. I had a different type of drain that started leaking a while ago. I purchased this replacement hose and installed it myself (I'm a 67 year old female). At first I couldn't screw this thing to the bottom of the sink without twisting it at an angle (which is why I gave it 4 passes per install). I kept working on it until it just turned. I only used my hands as recommended. It leaked a bit at first, but then I tightened it a bit and everything

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Some difficulties

We needed 2 of these to install a check valve under the basement sink.

. Check valves allow water to flow normally down the drain, but when something tries to back up and move up the pipe, the valve closes (and seals tight). We don't need non-return valves upstairs, but they are indispensable in the basement. If you install a check valve under the sink in the bathroom in the basement, you will have very little closet space. Check valves when adjusted by glue adapters to go from the larger 1 1/2" pipe that the check valve requires to the 1 1/2" size that these…

Pros

Cons
  • . Legacy model

Fabulous! fits tube fittings

I never write reviews but felt compelled to write a review for this product. I've remodeled my home myself and as you can imagine, I've encountered problems more often than anything that went smoothly. This is especially true for the new closet for the guest bathroom. Aside from the fact that the utility lines were all wrong, replacement parts weren't available, and the utility valves weren't compatible (which baffled all of the Home Depot, Lowe's, and ACE appliance experts), the placement of…
