This board is very suitable for beginners. It's nice and light and perfect for carrying under the straps of a regular backpack.

This is a REALLY good skateboard. My friend had it for a few months and when I tried it I just had to buy it myself. Easy to use, smooth ride and once the rails loosen a bit the skateboard responds great.

Bought for my 10 year old daughter who skates. It is easy to rotate while driving. We had to pull the trucks up a bit but she LOVES it, maybe more than her favorite penny boards. Good looking wooden back panel. We definitely make our money

A large backpack fits completely inside. It is durable and can be used by both adults and children. I was thinking of using it to get to the office from the parking lot.

Love how portable this thing is! Being on a college campus I definitely need something small and compact. I skate when I was in high school and I'm 20 now. The reason I give this product 4 stars is because it snags on almost every rock, stick and crack that causes me to fall. Even if I drive at a decent speed. This is great for college campuses where the pavement is smooth, but not for my area where there is loose gravel and uneven pavement.
