Does not work for alarm systems

Didn't work. I simply cut off the key blade, took out the ignition cylinder and put the key in the ignition hole to start the car.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Waste of money, didn't have to install a start button in 2007 Tacoma

I would give 0 stars if I could. I spent $9 on this as it was recommended as a must to install a start button in a 2007 Tacoma but all it did was cause problems as the alarm kept going and the doors eventually slammed in front of me and were locked by car. spun and stalled as I was driving on the freeway at about 65 mph, luckily I was in the middle lane and able to stop. After removal, the car worked well and started without any problems, only with the start button installed.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Repair

Doesn't work for my Civic Si

Immobilizer bypass didn't work on my 2009 Honda Civic Si, had to disassemble the original key and remove the transponder chip. I ended up sticking the chip between the plastic of the ignition key as shown in the photos on the tip of my finger and it works fine. Save your money, think smarter, not harder.

Pros
  • Requires an extra key to insert into the bypass module (if the key is large, you can take out the immobilizer circuit board or chip to insert it)
Cons
  • Not as thick as other lockpicks

no cable to connect to the alarm just great people

too simple to be true i couldn't believe it i thought it was more than just inserting the key and pulling the cable around the ignition cylinder. no cable to connect to the alarm system itself, just cool guys, cool

Pros
  • interior
Cons
  • everything is ok

Was skeptical because of all the bad reviews but this works for me.

Does what it's supposed to. Bypasses my 2011 Jeep Patriot's immobilizer chip so I can remote start and start with a push button system. The wires are INCREDIBLY thin, I wish they used thicker wires, but oh well. it works for my car.

Pros
  • Anti-theft
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Didn't work on my Civic Si

Immobilizer didn't work on my 2009 Honda Civic Si. I had to disassemble the original key and remove the transponder chip. The ignition key path is plastic as shown in the photo on my fingertip and works well. Save your money, think smarter, not harder.

Pros
  • Car
Cons
  • Hard to tell
