Easyou provided me with everything I needed to successfully start learning the ancient art of Chinese painting. I'm new to this, but thanks to Easyou for giving me the opportunity to make new discoveries. I keep this heavy beautiful stone for easyou black ink. I also bought another porcelain bowl for grinding paints, but I don't think the extra bowl was strictly necessary. This good sharpening stone is all a person needs with a brush, paper and an ink pen to get started.

This is a great entry stone. That's a good value. The stone is oiled. I used a degreaser and removed all the oil. The ink can create lines ranging from dark gray to black. I was amazed at the thin lines and dark bulges this ink was able to create for decorative writing. Are there better stones and ink pens? Sure, but for the money this kit is hard to beat in terms of value. If anyone is interested in trying ground ink to work with a sharp pen, this is a good water test kit.

I'm new to using the traditional ink stone but I can't help but feel that flatter is better for the sanding surface. This item is reasonable, but I deducted 1 star because it took me less than 20 minutes to make it great. The manufacturer could spend very little time making them great from the factory. This is a high quality natural stone, very dense. The supplied refill ink is of medium to high quality. I found that the smell was neither unpleasant nor strong. Very well packed. Would recommend

I'm just a clueless westerner but I love my new ink stein, the process is really relaxing and you can mentally prepare for your task and clear your mind. I was curious if the ink would work with my fountain pen and it does! It writes grey, almost like a watermark, I guess I still need to work on it but I can read what I've written well and the ink flows well through the pen. I would buy some brushes but I don't know if English letter is compatible. I made a few and kept them in the fountain for
