The reason for owning a scale is to be able to measure weight and do it with ACCURACY. An inaccurate scale is just as useless as an inaccurate clock (i.e. a clock that runs but cannot tell the exact time). This scale turned out to be exceptional by the accuracy standard. I bought this scale in April 2015 and after 2 years of use I tested its accuracy with a 2kg calibration weight. With the calibration weight on the scale, the display read 2.001 kg. This is an accuracy of 1 part in the year 2000

The EatSmart Precision Elite digital kitchen scale is a very good product. I use it daily, often multiple times a day. It's extremely easy to use and has a low, sleek design that's just as easy to clean.
