Easy install works like new

Easy to replace. Just use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the old rivets. Then install new parts and drive in new rivets. 5 minutes and done. Saved me from spending $200 to replace a hitch.

Spring plate not included

I lost the spring plate on the clutch, it just fell off. I contacted the seller I bought from. They have a part number to order and do not include a spring retainer which was clearly shown when purchased.

Works with Reese if you get it to work.

My WDH is a Reese brand that may need a hose clamp if you get stuck as my model needs to drill a pin. However, it works as it is a perfect match in size, shape and quality. So far 4000 km driven without problems.

design flaws. for Sports and Fitness

A design flaw is a small breakaway rivet that is hammered into the clutch to distribute weight. If the hole that this rivet fits into is rusted or eroded, this rivet will not secure the spring retainer and will not solve your problem. I've since bought hose clamps and wrapped them up where those rivets are supposed to hold the spring clamps in place. So far, so good.

Make sure you have a drill and a tap.

I broke off the upper bolt on my old trailer hitch. This kit was just what I needed to fix his installation, but it wasn't easy at all. Make sure you have a drill and tap to remove the bottom pin. The instructions make it sound like it can be pulled out without breaking, but I don't see how. After working slowly for about 10 minutes, the head finally broke off and I had to drill it out. After that, the installation of the new set took 5 minutes and was easy to complete.
